1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how FreeNutri (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit freenutri.fit, use our free public tools, or create an account. By using the service you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.

2. How FreeNutri collects information
2.1 Information you provide
- Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your Google account ID, email address, and name (and profile picture if provided).
- Profile & goals: age, sex, height, weight, activity level, diet preferences, allergies/tags, and calorie or macro targets you set.
- App activity: meal plans, food logs, water and burned-calorie entries, weight history, favorites, shopping lists, and messages you send to AI chat.
- Contact: messages you send to [email protected] or [email protected].
2.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and referring URLs.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and our Cookie Policy).
- Analytics events via Yandex.Metrika (page views, clicks, and session metrics).
3. How we use information
- Provide personalized meal plans, recipes, logging, and nutrition tools.
- Sync your data across devices when you are signed in.
- Improve reliability, security, and content quality.
- Respond to support requests.
- Measure traffic and understand how public pages are used.
- Show advertising that helps keep FreeNutri free (see below).
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
When cached recipe or plan data is unavailable, we may send prompts to OpenAI to generate content. Chat messages and related context are processed by OpenAI under their privacy terms. Do not submit sensitive medical information you are not comfortable sharing with processors.
4. Advertising, Google AdSense, and personalized ads
FreeNutri uses Google AdSense (and may use related Google advertising services) to display ads on public pages. Advertising helps us offer the product free of charge.
In line with Google’s requirements, we disclose the following:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, users can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising partners may process device identifiers and browsing activity as described in their policies.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage for:
- Essential: sign-in session, security, remembering cookie consent.
- Preferences: theme or UI choices in the app.
- Analytics: Yandex.Metrika.
- Advertising: Google AdSense and partners (when ads are enabled).
Where required by law (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we ask for consent before non-essential cookies and ad personalization. You can change browser settings to block cookies; some features may stop working. See our Cookie Policy for details.
6. Who we share data with
- Google: authentication (Google Sign-In), AdSense / advertising, and related Google services.
- OpenAI: AI recipe, plan, or chat generation when needed.
- Yandex: Metrika analytics.
- Hosting / infrastructure: cloud providers that run our servers and databases under contractual safeguards.
- Legal: if required by law, court order, or to protect users and the service.
We do not rent or sell your email list.
7. Retention and security
Account and synced nutrition data are kept while your account is active. If you delete your account from Profile → Delete account, we delete or irreversibly anonymize associated synced data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, security, or fraud reasons.
We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, access controls, hashed session cookies). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your rights and choices
- Access or update profile data in the app.
- Delete your account and synced data from the app.
- Opt out of personalized Google ads via Ads Settings (link above).
- Withdraw cookie consent by clearing site data or contacting us; we may show the consent banner again.
- Depending on your location (for example GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email [email protected].
9. Children’s privacy
FreeNutri is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it. We do not use Google personalized advertising based on knowledge that a user is under 13.
10. International users
Servers may be located in the United States or other countries. If you access the service from elsewhere, you consent to transfer of information to countries that may have different data-protection rules.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site.
