Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

Terms of use for FreeNutri (“Terms”) govern access to freenutri.fit and related apps and APIs. By using FreeNutri you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

FreeNutri provides general nutrition information, meal planning, food logging, recipes, calculators, and related tools. Some features require a free account (Google sign-in). Public tools and articles may be used without an account. Features may change, and we may add or remove functionality at any time.

The core product is offered free of charge and may be supported by advertising on public pages.

3. Not medical advice

FreeNutri provides general nutrition information and meal planning tools. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet, exercise, or supplements — especially if you are pregnant, have diabetes, allergies, eating disorders, or any other medical condition, or take prescription medication.

Calorie, macro, BMI, and similar estimates are approximations. Individual needs vary. You are responsible for verifying allergen and ingredient information before cooking or eating. Restaurant and packaged-food figures may be incomplete or outdated.

4. Accounts and eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher age required in your country) to create an account.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure.
• You may delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes or to harm others.
• Attempt to scrape, overload, or disrupt our systems beyond normal use of public pages.
• Reverse engineer or abuse AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
• Misrepresent the service as providing medical care or certified dietitian counseling.
• Interfere with advertising or security mechanisms.

6. Content and intellectual property

Site design, branding, software, and original content are owned by FreeNutri or its licensors. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Recipe and nutrition data may combine AI generation, USDA-derived data, and other sources; accuracy is not guaranteed.

You retain rights to content you submit (for example custom notes). You grant us a license to host and process that content to operate the service.

7. Advertising

Public pages may display ads via Google AdSense or similar partners. Ads are subject to Google’s policies and our Privacy Policy. You agree that advertising may appear alongside free tools and articles.

8. AI features

Meal plans, recipes, chat answers, and similar outputs may be generated or assisted by AI. Outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Always use your judgment and professional advice for health decisions.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition data is complete or suitable for your goals.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FreeNutri AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR HEALTH OUTCOMES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (IF ANY) OR (B) USD $50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FreeNutri from claims arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction shall have exclusive venue, subject to applicable consumer rights.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.
