Ingredients
- Carrot sticks 100 g
- Cucumber sticks 100 g
- Guacamole 60 g
Method
-
Prepare the Carrots.
Wash the carrots thoroughly under running water. Peel the carrots using a vegetable peeler to remove the outer skin. Then, cut the carrots into sticks about 3-4 inches long and roughly 1/2 inch thick for easy dipping.
Tip: If you want uniform sticks, slice the carrot into rounds first, then cut each round into sticks. -
Prepare the Cucumbers.
Wash the cucumber well. You can peel it if you prefer, but leaving the skin adds extra nutrients and crunch. Cut the cucumber into sticks similar in size to the carrot sticks for a consistent presentation and easy dipping.
Tip: Remove seeds if you want less moisture in your sticks by slicing the cucumber lengthwise and scooping out seeds with a spoon. -
Serve with Guacamole.
Place the carrot and cucumber sticks on a serving plate. Add 60 grams of guacamole in a small bowl or directly on the plate for dipping. Enjoy immediately for the best fresh taste and texture.
Tip: If using store-bought guacamole, stir it well before serving to mix any separated liquids.
Pro tips
- Keep the vegetable sticks refrigerated until serving to maintain crispness.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle a little sea salt or chili powder on the guacamole.
