Ingredients
- Chia seeds 3 tablespoons
- Whey protein powder 1 scoop
- Unsweetened almond milk 1 cup
- Strawberries 1/2 cup
Method
-
Mix Protein and Almond Milk.
In a medium-sized bowl or jar, add 1 scoop of whey protein powder. Pour in 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk. Use a whisk or spoon to mix thoroughly until the protein powder is completely dissolved and the liquid is smooth without lumps.
Tip: Mixing the protein powder first helps prevent lumps when adding chia seeds. -
Add Chia Seeds.
Add 3 tablespoons of chia seeds to the protein-almond milk mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the seeds throughout the liquid. This ensures they don’t clump together.
Tip: Use a spoon or small whisk to break up any clumps of chia seeds. -
Refrigerate to Thicken.
Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap. Place it in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible. During this time, the chia seeds will absorb the liquid and create a thick, pudding-like texture.
Tip: If you want to speed up the process, stir the pudding after 30 minutes and again after 1 hour. -
Add Strawberries and Serve.
Once the pudding has thickened, take it out of the refrigerator. Give it a good stir to combine. Top the pudding with 1/2 cup of freshly sliced strawberries. Enjoy immediately for a fresh, healthy treat.
Tip: Add other toppings like nuts or a drizzle of honey if desired.
Pro tips
- Use a jar with a lid for easy mixing and storage.
- If the pudding is too thick, stir in a little more almond milk to reach your preferred consistency.
