Ingredients
- Non-fat Greek yogurt 1.5 cups
- Granola 1/3 cup
- Mixed berries 1 cup
- Honey 1 tsp
Method
-
Prepare the berries.
If using fresh berries, rinse them gently under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. If using frozen berries, let them thaw for a few minutes until they are no longer icy but still cool.
Tip: Dry berries well to prevent the parfait from becoming watery. -
Layer the yogurt.
Take two tall glasses or bowls. Spoon about 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt evenly into the bottom of each glass to create the first layer.
Tip: Use a spoon or small ladle for easy and even layering. -
Add mixed berries.
Distribute half of the mixed berries over the yogurt layer in each glass, spreading them evenly.
Tip: If berries are large, you can cut strawberries into smaller pieces for better layering. -
Add granola layer.
Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of granola over the berries in each glass to add crunch.
Tip: Add granola just before serving to keep it crunchy. -
Repeat layers.
Add another layer of Greek yogurt (about 3/4 cup divided between the two glasses), followed by the remaining berries and granola on top.
Tip: Press gently with the back of the spoon to compact layers slightly but don’t mash the fruit. -
Drizzle honey.
Finish by drizzling about 1/2 teaspoon of honey on top of each parfait for a touch of sweetness.
Tip: Use a spoon to drizzle honey evenly and avoid clumping.
Pro tips
- Use chilled Greek yogurt for a refreshing parfait.
- Customize your granola by mixing in nuts or seeds for extra texture.
