Ingredients

  • Nonfat Greek yogurt 170 g
  • Granola 40 g
  • Fresh strawberries 100 g
  • Honey 1 tsp

Method

  1. Prepare the strawberries. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold running water. Remove the green stems (hull) by gently twisting them off or using a small knife. Slice the strawberries into thin pieces or halves depending on your preference.
Tip: Pat the strawberries dry with a paper towel to avoid excess moisture making the parfait soggy.
  2. Layer the yogurt. Take a clean glass or bowl and spoon half of the nonfat Greek yogurt into the bottom. Spread it evenly to create a smooth layer.
Tip: Using a clear glass makes the parfait visually appealing with visible layers.
  3. Add granola and strawberries. Sprinkle half of the granola evenly over the yogurt layer. Then add half of the sliced strawberries on top of the granola layer.
Tip: Add granola just before serving to keep it crunchy.
  4. Repeat layers. Repeat the layering by adding the remaining yogurt, then the rest of the granola, and finally the remaining sliced strawberries on top.
Tip: Press gently on each layer to keep the parfait compact but avoid crushing the fruit.
  5. Drizzle honey. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey over the top layer of strawberries to add natural sweetness. You can adjust the amount to your taste or skip if you prefer less sugar.
Tip: Warm the honey slightly if it is thick to make drizzling easier.

Pro tips

  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor and sweetness.
  • Serve immediately after assembling to keep the granola crunchy.
