Ingredients
- Rolled oats 40 g
- Whey protein powder 30 g
- Strawberries 75 g
- Water 240 ml
Method
-
Measure Ingredients.
Measure 40 grams (about ½ cup) of rolled oats, 30 grams (1 scoop) of whey protein powder, 75 grams (½ cup) of sliced strawberries, and 240 ml (1 cup) of water using kitchen scales and measuring cups.
Tip: Use a kitchen scale for accuracy to ensure the best texture and nutrition. -
Cook the Oats.
Pour the 240 ml of water into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, add the rolled oats. Reduce the heat to low and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats have absorbed most of the water and become creamy.
Tip: Stirring occasionally prevents the oats from sticking to the pan. -
Add Whey Protein.
Remove the saucepan from heat. Let the oats cool for about 1 minute, then stir in the whey protein powder thoroughly until it is fully mixed and smooth. This prevents the protein powder from clumping or cooking too much.
Tip: Adding protein powder off the heat helps maintain its nutritional quality and texture. -
Add Strawberries and Serve.
Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl and top it with the sliced strawberries. Enjoy your warm, protein-rich oatmeal immediately for the best taste and texture.
Tip: Fresh strawberries add natural sweetness and a refreshing contrast to the creamy oats.
Pro tips
- Use fresh or frozen strawberries; if frozen, thaw them slightly before adding.
- For creamier oatmeal, substitute half the water with milk or a milk alternative.
