Ingredients
- Chia seeds 3 tbsp
- Whey protein powder 1 scoop
- Unsweetened almond milk 1 cup
- Raspberries 1/2 cup
Method
-
Measure Ingredients.
Use a tablespoon to measure 3 tablespoons of chia seeds and place them into a medium-sized bowl or jar. Add 1 scoop (30g) of whey protein powder to the same container.
Tip: Use a container with a lid if you plan to store the pudding in the fridge. -
Add Almond Milk.
Pour 1 cup (240g) of unsweetened almond milk into the bowl or jar with the chia seeds and protein powder. Stir well with a spoon or whisk to combine all ingredients evenly and prevent clumps.
Tip: Mix thoroughly so the protein powder dissolves and the chia seeds are evenly distributed. -
Refrigerate Overnight.
Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Let the mixture soak for at least 8 hours or overnight. During this time, the chia seeds will absorb the liquid and create a thick pudding texture.
Tip: If you want a smoother texture, stir the pudding once or twice during the first hour of soaking. -
Add Raspberries and Serve.
After the pudding has thickened, remove it from the fridge. Gently stir the pudding to check consistency. Top with 1/2 cup of fresh or thawed raspberries before serving.
Tip: You can mash some raspberries into the pudding for extra flavor or keep them whole for texture.
Pro tips
- Use a jar with a lid to make it easy to shake and mix the pudding before refrigerating.
- If the pudding is too thick in the morning, stir in a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
