Ingredients
- Whey protein powder 1 scoop (30g)
- Banana 1 medium (120g)
- Peanut butter 1 tbsp (16g)
- Skim milk 1.5 cups (360ml)
Method
-
Prepare the banana.
Peel the banana and break it into smaller chunks. This helps it blend more easily.
Tip: If you want a colder smoothie, slice the banana and freeze the pieces beforehand. -
Add ingredients to blender.
Place the banana chunks, 1 scoop of whey protein powder, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, and 1.5 cups of skim milk into your blender.
Tip: Add the milk first to help the blades move smoothly. -
Blend until smooth.
Secure the blender lid and blend on high speed for about 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is creamy and smooth with no chunks.
Tip: If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk and blend again. -
Serve immediately.
Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy it fresh for the best taste and texture.
Tip: You can garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few peanut pieces for extra flavor.
Pro tips
- Use frozen banana chunks to make the smoothie colder and thicker without adding ice.
- If you prefer a vegan version, substitute skim milk with almond or oat milk and use a plant-based protein powder.
