Ingredients

  • Whey protein powder 30 g
  • Fresh spinach 40 g
  • Mango chunks 150 g
  • Oat milk unsweetened 300 ml

Method

  1. Prepare the ingredients. Wash the fresh spinach leaves thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt. If using fresh mango, peel, pit, and cut into chunks to measure 150 grams. Measure out 30 grams of whey protein powder and 300 ml of unsweetened oat milk.
Tip: Using frozen mango chunks can make your smoothie colder and thicker without adding ice.
  2. Add ingredients to blender. Place the 300 ml of oat milk into the blender first. Then add the 150 grams of mango chunks, 40 grams of fresh spinach, and finally the 30 grams of whey protein powder. Adding liquid first helps the blender run smoothly.
Tip: Add the protein powder last to avoid it sticking to the sides of the blender.
  3. Blend until smooth. Secure the blender lid tightly. Blend on high speed for about 30 to 60 seconds, or until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy with no visible spinach pieces.
Tip: If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more oat milk and blend again to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Serve immediately. Pour the smoothie into a glass. Enjoy immediately to benefit from the freshness and nutrients.
Tip: You can garnish with a small spinach leaf or a few mango chunks for a nice presentation.

Pro tips

  • Use frozen mango chunks to make the smoothie chilled without diluting the flavor with ice.
  • Add a tablespoon of chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.
